Vision, Mission & Objectives
VISION
Achieving distinction by assurance and enhancement of quality teaching and research in line with international standards.
MISSION
This mission of the QAD is to bring the University of Balochistan at par with the leading universities at national, regional and global level through execution of programs on quality assurance by sustainable internal and external assessment.
OBJECTIVES
-
To promote public confidence that the quality and standards of the award of degrees are enhanced and safeguarded.

To review the quality standards, teaching and learning in each subject area.

To develop qualifications framework by setting out the attributes and abilities that can be expected from the holder of a qualification, i.e. Bachelors, Bachelor with Honors, Master's, M. Phil., and Doctoral.

To ensure that the university's quality assurance procedures are designed to fit in with the arrangements in place nationally for maintaining and improving the quality of Higher Education.

To ensure the implementation and compliance of the Self-Assessment system by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
-
Serving as the University's liaison with Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and other national and international experts/institutions on matters directly relevant to quality assurance.
