DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LITERATURE
Introduction
1.1. The department of English Literature is one of those departments which started functioning with the establishment of the University of Balochistan in 1971. The department has, since then expanded and emerged as one of the major departments of the university. It has produced hundreds of graduates who are rendering valuable services in the prestigious institutions/organizations of the country.
2. Objectives
2.1. To foster an environment that promotes learning through quality teaching and research while encouraging mutual respect and tolerance.
2.2. To foster an environment in which students would be encouraged to develop their personality and unfold their potentialities.
2.3. To provide qualified professionals in the subject of English Literature to meet the future need of educational institutions and industry.
2.4. To focus on the moral improvement of the students.
