⚬ Develop proposals sport and recreation events that promote physical activity, sport and recreation.
⚬ To develop sport and recreation programmes for the UoB community (students, faculty, staff, alumni and neighbours) during different times of the year.
⚬ To organize inter-departmental, inter-faculty, and inter-university sport and recreation events for UoB students.
⚬ To train faculty with methodologies that emphasize the delivery of ethical standards, moral values, competitive spirit, and leadership skills through sport
activities.
⚬ To prepare sport calendar
⚬ To prepare sport teams that represent the institution at provincial, national and international sport tournaments

⚬ To prepare proposals for conducting State Level and National Level sport events
⚬ To arrange for sport scholarships
⚬ To aid Undergraduate Studies Office in the selection of candidates against reserved sport seats
⚬ To build and maintain a sport hall of fame.
⚬ To manage the Social Media Platforms of the Directorate of Sport and Recreation
⚬ To run the Social Media Campaign and Calendars of the co-curricular activities.
⚬ To overseas the work of focal persons for each faculty and sport events

⚬ To provide advice and support to sport clubs during the planning process and arrangements of logistical requirements

⚬ To regularly conduct Sports Board Meeting

⚬ To ensure participation of each student in at least one sport or recreation activity per semester
