Using of University transport is not compulsory and only those students who agree to abide by the transport rules of the University are advised to use University transport. These are costly assets and it is the prime responsibility of each student not to cause any damage to the University transport fleet.

All students/parents are expected to be aware of the transport rules of the University and ignorance of the same will not be an excuse for any dispute/claim.

Students are liable to pay for any damage caused by them to the transport vehicle or property therein either alone or jointly with others. In addition, disciplinary action could also be initiated against them.

The transport charges can be increased subject to the increase in the cost of fuel and other operating costs.

The students will not be permitted to board or drop at points other than the specified.

University has complete authority to inspect transport vehicles including personal belongings during transit or at any time in and outside the campus.

Ragging, by law, is strictly prohibited. Any student who is traveling in the university bus found indulging himself / herself directly / indirectly in any activities like theft / ragging / fighting / quarrelling / use of abusive language / misbehave with fellow students, juniors / seniors or Staff members, shall be considered a serious misconduct /indiscipline and strict disciplinary action shall be initiated against him / her as deemed necessary or may be handed over to police for legal proceedings according to nature of offence for which entire responsibility lies on the concerned student.

Use of any kind of intoxicants (like Drugs, Smoking, Drinking) Gambling, Playing Cards, Photography (without permission) etc., are strictly prohibited.

Students involved in any such act shall be liable for STRICT disciplinary action.

The students availing the transport facility shall be responsible for all the personal belongings and the University management is not responsible for theft / loss of property during travel in bus.

All students must reach at their respective bus stops at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the bus. In case of missing the point, no alternate transport will be provided.

The boarding is entirely at risk of the student availing transport facility. The University management does not own any type of responsibility towards compensation of any nature whatsoever.

In case of breakdown of the University Bus due to mechanical fault or any reason, no charges towards alternative conveyance would be paid, however full efforts shall be made to make alternate arrangement.

In case of dispute with the driver, the matter be brought in to the notice of the Transport Officer. The decision of transportation section will be final and binding on the students.

The University reserves the right to deny transport facility to any student on the grounds of misconduct/ Indiscipline.

The University reserves the right to frame, amend, revoke, repeal and enforce the Rules & Regulations, as and when deem fit.

The students are directed to observe COVID-19 SOP's i.e wearing of masks while using University Transport.

The University shall not be bound or responsible to intimate each student separately in any manner, in this regard.
