Attendance
Requirements
1.1. Attendance in lectures, Law College Moot Court sessions, tutorial
and seminars, research methodology and Court visit is mandatory for
all students.
1.2. The
name of a student, who absents himself/herself from classes without
proper leave sanction, for a period of fifteen days, shall be struck
off from the rolls on 16th day of such absence.
1.3. A
student, whose name has been struck off the rolls, may be readmitted
for valid reason within two weeks during the same academic year to
the same class. This readmission will however be allowed by the
respective Dean on the recommendation of the Principal University
Law College. Fee for readmission will be Rs. 500. If the student
fails to get readmission within the stipulated period he/she may be
allowed readmission by the Academic Committed headed by the Pro Vice
Chancellor within one month from the date, his/her name was struck
off with a fee Rs 1000. After one month, readmission is not allowed.
Each student will be
required to complete at least 75% of attendance in Lectures for
becoming eligible to appear in the annual examination that year.
